CHUCKY "The Devil's Doll" (1988), the first film in the Chucky saga, tells the terrifying story of a doll possessed by the soul of a serial killer. It all begins when Charles Lee Ray, a famous criminal known as "Chucky", is fatally wounded by the police. Using his knowledge of voodoo magic, he transfers his soul into a "Good Guy" doll, thus escaping death. Single mother Karen Barclay bought the doll for her son Andy without knowing the dark secret it holds. Soon, macabre events begin to happen and Andy is the only witness to Chucky's true nature. No one believes the boy, allowing the doll to continue his terrifying and bloody killing spree. The film becomes a horror film classic, combining elements of psychological and supernatural terror.
